Slow down to get more done has been my mantra for the last year, I have been consistently practising slowing down in everything I do. Not everyone will agree on this I know.
Yet everywhere I go I meet people who seem to be in such a rush, striving to compete with one another and go for what they perceive is bigger and better. All that happens is that they end up burned out, tired, frustrated and in some extremes anxious and depressed because their efforts are not getting them the results they want.
If you really want to achieve anything worthwhile in your life, whether that is, success in your career, a healthy lifestyle or happy and balanced relationships then it's time to slow down and give those things the quality of attention they need and deserve for them to flourish.
Allow yourself to focus on only one thing at a time
Slowing down will take you much further in life, than racing ahead and trying to do more than you can realistically achieve, and if you don't believe me go read the story of the Tortoise and the Hare.
