How to make changes stick

Well that's January gone and now we are heading fast into the heart of February!

How are you doing, are you managing to make all those changes you promised to make at the start of the year? Or are you feeling a little flat and stuck?

Whether you are stuck or moving forward fast with those change, here are some little tips that will help you to really get going or keep that momentum flowing in the right direction.


  • Take small steps and keep it simple - Small changes are much easier to make and maintain
  • Remember why you started - Write down the reasons you are making the changes and remind yourself regularly
  • Be consistent - Do something on a daily basis that will help you to follow through on changes
  • Ask for help - Get your friends or loved ones on board or even a professional, being accountable will really help you drive through the changes
  • Visualise the outcome - Practice some daily visualistation, meditation or self hypnosis this will really help keep you focused on those changes
  • Ditch anything that doesn't help move you forward - Let go of people, things, thoughts or beliefs that stop you making the changes
  • Take action and just do it!
